This project is a significant step forward in strengthening the national electrical infrastructure, increasing the reliability and capacity of the grid to meet the country&#8217;s growing energy demand. <\/p>\n\n<p>The project included the construction of a double-circuit 230kV transmission line, with an extension of <strong>12.35 kilometers<\/strong>, connecting the Guate Oeste substation with the Las Cruces substation. The <strong>195MVA<\/strong> capacity of this new infrastructure allows optimizing the interaction between the transmission and sub-transmission networks, ensuring a more stable and reliable electricity supply for several communities. <\/p>\n\n<p>With the addition of this substation, Conecta now has a total of <strong>710 kilometers of transmission lines<\/strong> and <strong>28 substations in commercial operation<\/strong>, consolidating its position as a reference in electricity transmission in Guatemala. This achievement is the result of a joint effort of its multidisciplinary team, which successfully overcame various technical and regulatory challenges, always maintaining a focus on operational excellence. <\/p>\n\n<p>The entry into operation of the Guate Oeste substation not only strengthens the country&#8217;s electrical infrastructure, but also boosts Guatemala&#8217;s economic and social progress, contributing to its sustainable development.
